T57 solves the problem of trade documents that can be copied, faked or pledged twice, by recording them as unique, tokenized digital assets on a tamper-evident ledger.
The problem
Paper documents can be copied and pledged twice
Trade finance still runs on paper. A bill of lading, warehouse receipt or invoice can be scanned, altered or used as collateral with more than one lender. Lenders know this, so they ask for more checks, more time and more security, and smaller businesses are often refused. The goods are real and the trade is sound, but the documents behind them are hard to trust.
How it works
Verify → Tokenize → Fund
- 01
Verify
A trade document, such as an invoice, warehouse receipt or bill of lading, is checked against the verified trade record.
- 02
Tokenize
The document is recorded as a unique digital token (often called an NFT) on a tamper-evident ledger, linked to its owner and the trade.
- 03
Fund
Licensed lenders and investors can see the token's history and fund against it. The token cannot be pledged twice, and its status updates as the trade moves.
What makes it different
Built for trust, not just listings
Use case · Illustrative example
Johor palm oil processor finances stock against a tokenized warehouse receipt
A palm oil processor in Johor holds stock in a bonded warehouse while it waits for a buyer contract. On T57, its warehouse receipt is verified against the trade record and recorded as a unique digital token. A licensed lender can see that the receipt is genuine, unpledged and linked to real stock, and advances working capital against it. When the goods are sold, the token's status updates and the lender is repaid from the sale.
