Five founding markets linked both ways, open online worldwide, growing to 101 markets by 2036.
T57 connects verified food producers, traders and buyers in Saudi Arabia, the UAE, India, Malaysia and Türkiye, on one trade record that works within each country and across their borders. These are the first five. T57 is open online to verified businesses in 195 countries and opens new markets phase by phase.
The challenge
The world spent an estimated $2.22 trillion on food imports in 2025 (FAO).
Much of that trade flows between the regions T57 serves: Gulf economies that import most of their food, and producing nations in South Asia, Southeast Asia and Türkiye that want to sell more of it, directly. Yet each market has its own rules, documents, languages and ways of doing business, and trust across borders is hard to build. The key challenges T57 addresses include:
Fragmented markets
Each country has different rules, documents and platforms.
Trust across borders
Buyers and sellers in different countries cannot easily verify each other.
Local needs
Global platforms rarely fit local languages, crops, regulations and payment habits.
How T57 works across markets
- 01
Local verification
Country teams verify members in each market, on the ground.
- 02
Domestic wholesale
Producers and manufacturers sell to supermarkets, hotels, restaurants, caterers and institutions in their own country.
- 03
Cross-border corridors
The same trade record adds export steps for trade between markets: contract, documents, finance, shipment, inspection and settlement.

Trade both ways, between every market
Every founding market is both a buyer and a seller on T57. A member in any one of them can buy from, or sell to, verified members in all the others, on the same trade record. For example:

Why T57
We believe that a food trade network must be global in reach and local in practice.
