Finance, escrow and insurance come from licensed partners.

T57 solves the under-insurance and unmanaged risk that leave food businesses exposed, by connecting cargo, credit and crop cover, takaful and compliance screening to every verified trade.
The problem
One bad shipment from failure
Food trade carries more risk than most. Goods spoil, ships are delayed, buyers default and routes close. When the Strait of Hormuz closed in 2026, FAO warned that 20–45% of key agrifood inputs for some markets pass through it (FAO, April 2026), and fertilizer prices jumped within weeks. Yet many food SMEs ship without adequate insurance, sell on open account without credit cover, and screen counterparties by instinct. One loss can wipe out a year's margin. The key challenges T57 addresses include:
Cargo loss and damage
Spoilage, contamination, theft and accidents in transit.
Buyer default
Unpaid invoices and insolvent customers, especially in new markets.
Compliance and disruption risk
Sanctions breaches, route closures and political events that can stop a trade.

Use case · Illustrative example
Jeddah importer's frozen beef shipment is protected end to end
A Jeddah importer buys frozen beef from a verified Brazilian processor. On T57 it insures the cargo, including temperature deviation cover, from a licensed partner. The processor takes trade credit cover on the importer's payment. When a reefer container fails at a transshipment port and part of the cargo is lost, the temperature log, inspection report and policy are already on the trade record, and the claim is settled quickly.
Why T57
We believe that no food business should be one bad shipment away from failure.
Licensed insurers and takaful operators
All cover is underwritten by licensed partners. T57 does not act as an insurer.
