The layers that connect members, data, AI and partners on one platform.
T57's architecture solves the integration problem in food trade, by connecting members, partners and authorities to one trade record through secure, region-aware cloud services and open APIs.
The problem
Many systems, many data laws, no common language
Food trade involves banks, insurers, logistics firms, inspectors, customs authorities and thousands of businesses, each with its own systems and rules, in many countries with their own data laws. Most trade platforms are built as closed marketplaces that cannot connect deeply to these parties, or as single-country systems that cannot cross borders. Neither can carry a trade from end to end. The key challenges T57 addresses include:
Many systems, no common language
Partners and members use different formats for the same data.
Data laws by country
Data must often stay in-country, or be shared only on specific terms.
Scale and reliability
Trade infrastructure must stay available and consistent across time zones and markets.
How the architecture works
Cloud foundation → Core services → Integration layer → Intelligence and ledger

- 04Intelligence and ledger
- 01
Cloud foundation
Cloud-native services on Microsoft Azure across regions, with data stored to meet each market's residency rules.
- 02
Core services
Identity and verification, trade record, workflow, documents and payments orchestration, each a separate service with its own controls.
- 03
Integration layer
APIs and connectors for partner banks, insurers, logistics providers, inspectors, customs systems and members' ERPs.
- 04
Intelligence and ledger
AI services and a blockchain layer that read from and anchor the trade record, under strict access rules.
Architecture components
8 parts, one platform
Region-aware data storage
Data hosted to meet local residency requirements. For regulated members and partners, this supports compliance.
Modular services
Identity, trade, documents, payments orchestration and notifications as separate services. For reliability, this limits the impact of any single failure.
Event-driven trade record
Every action is recorded as an event, which builds a complete history. For audit, this means nothing is lost or overwritten.
Partner connectors
Standard connectors for banks, payment institutions, insurers and logistics systems. For partners, this means faster onboarding.
Member APIs
REST APIs and webhooks for ERP, accounting and procurement integration. For enterprises, this means T57 fits their workflow.
Standards-based data
Trade data mapped to recognized standards such as HS codes, Incoterms and electronic trade document formats. For partners, this means interoperability.
Consent and permissions engine
Controls who sees what on each trade. For members, this keeps commercial data private.
Monitoring and resilience
Continuous monitoring, backups and recovery across regions. For members, this means a platform they can rely on.
Use case · Illustrative example
Malaysian bank connects to T57 for trade finance
A Malaysian bank wants to finance more SME food trades but cannot assess small deals cheaply. It connects to T57 through the partner API. Finance requests arrive as structured, verified deal files that its credit system can read directly. Disbursement and repayment events flow back to the trade record, and escrow repays the bank at settlement. The bank's data stays within its own systems and the residency rules it must follow.
Why T57
We believe that trade infrastructure should connect everyone without forcing anyone to replace their systems.
