The buyer pays in, and the seller is paid as each agreed milestone is met.
T57 solves the risk of paying too early or shipping too soon, by holding buyer funds with a licensed escrow partner and releasing them only when agreed, recorded milestones are met.
The problem
Paying too early or shipping too soon
In food trade, the gap between payment and delivery is where most disputes and losses happen. A buyer pays a deposit and the goods arrive late, short or below grade. A seller ships and the buyer delays payment or disputes quality to renegotiate. Without a neutral party holding the money and clear rules for releasing it, the weaker side usually loses. The key challenges T57 addresses include:
Advance-payment fraud
Buyers lose deposits to suppliers who do not deliver, or deliver something else.
Non-payment
Sellers ship and then chase payment for weeks or months.
Quality disputes
Without agreed evidence, arguments about grade or quantity drag on.
How T57 works for you
Agree release terms → Fund escrow → Record milestones → Release or pause
- 01
Agree release terms
Set milestones and release percentages in the contract, such as deposit on signing, part on inspection and balance on delivery.
- 02
Fund escrow
The buyer pays into an escrow account held by a licensed partner. The seller sees confirmation before it ships.
- 03
Record milestones
Inspection reports, bills of lading and delivery confirmations are added to the trade record.
- 04
Release or pause
Funds release automatically when each milestone is recorded. If either party raises a dispute, release pauses until it is resolved.

Use case · Illustrative example
Karachi rice exporter and Riyadh wholesaler share the risk
A Karachi rice exporter and a verified Riyadh wholesaler are trading for the first time. They agree on T57 to a 20/50/30 escrow: 20% on signing, 50% when pre-shipment inspection confirms grade and weight, and 30% on arrival. The wholesaler funds escrow through T57's licensed partner. The inspection report releases the second payment, and when a few bags arrive damaged, the wholesaler raises a dispute. Only the final 30% pauses, the claim is settled with the insurer, and the balance is released.
Why T57
We believe that trust between strangers should be built into the trade, not left to chance.
T57 does not hold client funds
