T57 solves the lack of reliable, current prices for the food products SMEs actually trade, by combining public market data with anonymized prices from verified trades on T57.
The problem
No current price for what you actually trade
Global benchmarks such as the FAO Food Price Index show the big picture: the index averaged 136.0 points in September 2026, up 5.8% year on year (FAO, October 2026). But a date exporter in Madinah or a rice importer in Kuala Lumpur needs to know the price of a specific grade, from a specific origin, delivered to a specific market, this week. Exchange prices cover only a few commodities, and most food is priced through private deals that leave no public trace. The key challenges T57 addresses include:
No price for your product
Many food products have no exchange or public benchmark.
Out-of-date information
Prices from contacts or old invoices lag the market.
Unequal information
The other side of the deal often knows the market better than you do.

Use case · Illustrative example
Kuala Lumpur rice importer negotiates with confidence
A Kuala Lumpur rice importer receives quotes for 1121 basmati from three verified Indian exporters. On T57, each quote is shown against the price index for that grade and origin, delivered to Port Klang. One quote is well above the index range and another is suspiciously low. The importer asks the high bidder to revise, checks the low bidder's track record, and awards the contract at a fair, market-based price.
