Source food from verified suppliers, with every step on one record
T57 solves the risk of buying from suppliers you cannot fully check, for importers, distributors, supermarkets, HoReCa groups and institutions.
The challenge
Buying from suppliers you cannot fully check
Food importers carry the most risk in a trade. They often pay before goods arrive, rely on documents they cannot easily verify and deal with suppliers they have never met. The stakes are rising: the global food import bill is forecast at about $2.22 trillion for 2025 (FAO, November 2025), and in 2026 the closure of the Strait of Hormuz showed how quickly supply routes into the Gulf can be disrupted.
Supplier uncertainty
It is hard to tell whether a supplier is the producer, a processor or one more intermediary adding cost.
Quality and documentation risk
Certificates, inspection reports and contracts arrive from different sources and do not always match.
Payment and supply risk
Paying upfront exposes buyers to fraud and delay, while single-source supply leaves them exposed to shocks.

Use case · Illustrative example
Kuala Lumpur distributor sources dates from a Madinah producer
A Kuala Lumpur food distributor wants premium dates ahead of Ramadan but has been let down by intermediaries before. On T57 it filters for suppliers labeled owner-producer and finds a verified family date farm in Madinah. It sends an RFQ, compares quotes against price data and accepts one. The contract is generated from the quote, a partner bank issues an LC and an inspection partner checks grade and halal documents before loading. The distributor tracks the shipment on one trade record and pays only when agreed conditions are met.
Why T57

How does T57 verify suppliers?
T57 runs business and identity checks, compliance screening and, where needed, a physical check of the supplier's premises. Each verified supplier receives a T57 Passport and a role label.
Can I buy only from producers?
