The problem
On open marketplaces, anyone can list a product.
A reseller can pose as a farm, a shell company can pose as an exporter, and a sanctioned party can hide behind a new name. Checking a new partner yourself takes weeks of calls, documents and site visits that most businesses cannot afford. The key challenges T57 addresses include:

T57 checks owners and directors, company registration, beneficial ownership, sanctions and watchlists, and document authenticity. AI triages each file, and an analyst reviews it.

T57's country team visits farms, factories and warehouses, and checks proof of ownership, such as a land title, lease or production license, for anyone who claims to produce.

The member is labeled owner-producer, processor, trader or intermediary, and receives a verified T57 Passport.

How long does verification take?

To confirm that businesses claiming to produce really do. This is what lets buyers trust the owner-producer label.
Do I need to verify again for each trade?
No. Your T57 Passport is reusable. It is renewed periodically, and you update it when your details change.
What if my application is declined?
You receive a stated reason and can ask for a review by a person.
