How T57 is different
Not a marketplace. Not a lender. The record between them.
| T57 | B2B marketplace | Trade-finance app | Logistics platform | |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Who is on it | Verified members only, each labelled by role | Open listings | Borrowers | Shippers |
| What it covers | Quote, contract, finance, inspection, shipping and payment | Discovery and quotes | Funding only | Freight and customs |
| Who handles the money | Licensed partners, on the same trade record. T57 holds no funds | The platform or the parties | The lender's own book | Freight payments only |
| The record | One trade record shared by buyer, seller, bank and inspector | Chat and purchase order | Loan file | Shipment file |
The challenge
A single food trade still needs eight separate services
The world spends about $2.22 trillion a year importing food (FAO Food Outlook, November 2025). Yet finding a buyer, checking them, agreeing terms, arranging finance, insurance, inspection, shipping and customs each come with their own paperwork, delays and risk. Banks rejected 41% of SME trade finance applications in 2025, part of a $2.5 trillion global gap (ADB, 2026).
Trust
Buyers and sellers cannot easily tell who is real, who owns the goods and who is only passing them on.
Fragmentation
Quotes, contracts, inspection reports, finance and shipping documents live in different inboxes and systems, so details get lost or changed.
Access to finance
Lenders cannot see a clean, verified history of a trade, so good businesses are turned away or charged more.
